About the Conference

More than 230 people from Canada, the United States and Europe attended Genome Canada’s first International Conference in Quebec City in 2006, 2020 Vision: Variation and Function in the Genome. The conference featured internationally renowned speakers on a wide range of topics related to the future of genomics and proteomics research.

Buoyed by the success of last year's conference, Genome Canada is planning the 2007 Conference, 2020 Vision: Adaptation to Environmental Change.

Join us for three days of plenaries and sessions featuring a unique mix of internationally recognized speakers who will focus on the future of genomics research and its impact on society over the next decade and beyond.
